Product Description

Hy-Per Lube Super Coolant contains special wetting agents that reduce the surface tension of the coolant mixture allowing it to more deeply penetrate the metal surfaces of the heat transfer areas of the cooling system. This allows your cooling system to dissipate more heat more efficiently, reducing coolant and engine temperatures up to 20 degree Fahrenheit and will prevent overheating. Hyper lube Super Coolant also provides complete protection from rust, corrosion and electrolysis and also lubricates water pump seals. Super Coolant is compatible with all types of anti-freeze and can be used in gasoline and diesel engines. Directions: Add to your cooling system. One bottle treats 12 to 20 quart systems.

5It really works!
By nerdymackid
Own a '92 Jeep Cherokee XJ Limited 4.0L I6. Overheating has always been an issue for the past 8 years. Water pump's been changed out 4 times (most mistakenly, thinking that the problem). Over summer, overheating became so bad that a trip the grocery store would cause the radiator to boil over. Don't even think about using the A/C in nearing 100ºF LA summer weather. Went to 3 autoshops, all saying that its a head gasket problem. They quoted me for replacing that and the radiator (which was replaced less than 5 years ago). Didn't believe it. Spent a weekend researching and walking through the aisles of the automotive care trying to figure out how to attack this problem. Final attack that permanently fixed this 8+year overheating problem: Flush the cooling system with Prestone Super Radiator Flush (repeat if necessary). Change out waterpump (for the final time, until it actually breaks), new thermostat. Pour in a bottle of this hyp-er lube Super Coolant and top off with water (add anti-freeze as necessary for cold weather). Now, even in 90ºF weather, A/C on max and climbing a 3 mile 6% grade. This truck barely goes over 210ºF (center).

So before you go fork out $1500 for a head gasket thats perfectly fine, give this a try. 10 stars if I can.

Also, the poor man's substitute for this would honestly be a few ounces of laundry detergent. All this really is is a foam-free wetting agent that allows water to penetrate the microscopic pores of the engine block and radiator.

Scientific Description: When old cars gather rust in the cooling system, a micro layer of steam separates the water from the engine, now allowing it to cool properly. This lowers the surface tension of water to allow it to flow through and 'wetting' the parts of the engine it needs to.

5This stuff works! Been using for several years with good success
By eiligeins
I've been using this product for several years now. It dropped the temp in my truck by about 15 degrees when I first started using it. I was in a hurry and bought another similar product last summer. That was a mistake. The other stuff didn't drop the temp, and it also created a white powder buildup in my aluminum radiator. I'm going to stick with HyperLube Super Coolant, because it's the original and it works. A quality product always deserves mentioning.
