This tow bar D-ring adapter worked great for my recent cross country haul from New Mexico to Georgia. This adapter bolted up nice on a Reese 5,000lb tow bar and it looks as if it came fresh from the factory. Because of the unique design of my Jeep's bumper (Fab Fours Hardcore Stinger TJ), the D-ring adapters made contact with the bumper and wore some of the powder coat away. This is not a design flaw as the as the adapters were designed around a "tab" style D-ring mount. These tow bar adapters are a better alternative to drilling thru your existing bumper and bolting tow bar brackets to them, all I had to do was remove my D-ring shackles and pin the tow bar in place, safety chain and then I was ready to go.

Using these adapters with my Reese tow bar made life simple, and I didn't have to mount anything to my bumper - just use the D-Ring mounts. Simple, and effective. Nice product!

I was apprehensive at first because I wasn't sure if it would work for my application or if these were universal and would work with "most" tow bars. I bought this and the Reese 5k Tow Bar and it worked PERFECTLY!!! I'm using an Expedition to tow the jeep.
I will say these brackets are significantly stronger and larger metal than the brackets that come with the tow bar. I would highly recommend these. These are a great option than drilling new holes in the front bumper.
I'm impressed with the quality of this product!
