Great Bolt on Hitch

I received this hitch 2 weeks ago. It took 15 minutes to install. 4 bolts and a little bit of wiggling and it was on. Very sturdy and nice welds indicate this hitch will last. I have used it with my bike rack with 4 bikes, and will be using it next month to tow a pop up camper. Highly recommend to anyone considering this hitch.

perfect fit

bought this for my 2009 jeep compass. I expected a little hassle ,like everything thats supposed to just bolt up but this actually did just that. It took about 15 minutes to install and couldn't have been easier. this is a well designed hitch and was absolutly easy to install. If your looking for a great hitch thats easy to install by yourself dont think twice this is the one. I highly recommend this hitch and would buy another without a second thought.

Great, but one minor issue to watch for.........

Putting on the hitch receiver was a breeze, minus one detail. The 5/8" bolts did not fit into the provided bushings on my 2007 Jeep Compass Sport. I went and bought 1/2" bolts with matching lock washers, plate washers, and nuts for an extra $14.52. It was easy going after that. The next day, was pulling 1,800 lbs. of rock and dirt with no jerking or lag in pull. I checked the bolts to see if there was any loosening of the nuts, and it held just fine. I'm not sure if the manufacturer added bushings to the holes provided on the frame or what, but after getting that minor fix done. Minimal physical work into putting the hitch on, and the money saved by not going through the jeep dealership (was going to charge $215 just for the hitch!!) makes me happy with the result!!
